The Rehab Team offers accessible, personalised occupational therapy and rehabilitation from the comfort of your home or workplace

The Rehab Team UK

Our team of highly specialised occupational therapists are experts in their field with years of experience working in the NHS, statutory services and private practice.

Our reputation for building trusted relationships with our clients is very important to us and we take every opportunity to grow and improve our services to meet our client’s needs. If you require more information about the services we provide, please feel free to contact us.

Our practice is based in the heart of the Midlands but our occupational therapists are located throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.

How we work

Our experienced therapists will carry out a comprehensive assessment of the client’s physical and cognitive abilities, identify what treatment goals are important to them and consider the most appropriate rehabilitation programme to ensure that therapy is focused on their lifestyle and interests.

Assessment

We interview the client, observe their mobility and function and undertake standardised clinical assessments when appropriate. We then provide an Immediate Needs Assessment Report (INA) which documents the client’s condition, areas of dysfunction, their therapy goals and the cost of delivering the rehabilitation programme.

Treatment

Treatment sessions are delivered in the clients home, work environment and their local community. Our occupational therapists can provide intensive intervention and will work alongside carers and other clinical professionals to ensure an holistic approach to rehabilitation. Our occupational therapists will source suitable aids and specialist equipment. We can also recommend assistive technology or housing adaptations to ensure the home, work and leisure environment meets their needs.

Evaluation

Following the Immediate Needs Assessment Report we provide regular Progress & Evaluation Reports and finally a Discharge Report.
