Occupational Therapist - Specialist in Hand Therapy & Burns Rehabilitation

 Harriet is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a particular interest in hand therapy as well as burns and plastics.   She has extensive experience in scar management and on the restoration of hand function.

 Harriet supports patients with complex trauma injuries, joint replacements, tendon repairs, neurological and congenital conditions and with post-surgical rehabilitation.   She is experienced in splint fabrication, both static and dynamic.

 Harriet is particularly focused on delivering holistic and person-centred care, providing patient education and empowering individuals to be involved in decision-making and enabling them to manage their own care.

 Harriet completes functional and cognitive occupational and home assessments for equipment provision and care planning.   She has also undertaken specialist courses including the British Association of Hand Therapists Radiographic Imaging, Dynamic Splinting and Pain Management.

 Harriet is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council.
